It pays to be really, really fit. CrossFit and Reebok are raising the stakes for this year’s Games, increasing the winnings for the following: all individuals who finish second through 19th place, the top five Games teams, the top five regional teams, and top five men and women at regionals.

The total payout in 2015 – over $2,000,000 – will be a 100 percent increase of 2012’s purse.

Individuals

Just like last year, the fittest man and woman on Earth will once again earn $275,000. Other podium finishers will see a $15,000 increase in their prizes. Second- and third-place winners will receive $90,000 and $60,000, respectively.

The fourth-place finisher will get $30,000 – a $10,000 raise from last year’s – while the rest of the top 20 will get anywhere from $20,000 to $2,000. The top five regional competitors will also take home money descending from $5,000 to $1,000.
